EVENT COORDINATOR

The Event Coordinator works in tandem with multiple departments and supports the Event and Design Center Teams
Responsibilities:

Create and review Production Breakdown (PB) and Run of Event (ROE) and confirm that all services and necessary preparations are in order.

Work closely with hotel catering and convention services, venue & restaurant contacts to ensure a successful program.

Facilitate and attend pre and post operational meetings.

Communicate applicable information with client, hotel and venue contacts, and internal stakeholders.

Vendor liaison, including orderings, reviewing and approving documents
Qualifications:

Experience – A minimum of 1-2 years of industry related experience. College degree preferred.

Computer savvy – Strong skills is Microsoft Office products.

Organized – You can be working on multiple events at one time.

High-functioning – At your best when working under time restrictions and with numerous personality types.

Good communicator – You communicate well with employees at all levels in and outside the organization.

Flexible – Able to shift work and priorities as needed. Hours will sometimes include nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Team Player - The position will have contact with employees, clients, and vendors. Understanding everyone’s role and how to service the client is vital to success.
